Project

Inspired by seeing the temple by Acute art, the thought of how a viewer moves around the space is just as important as what happens within the space. I feel like adopting the floating aspects further indicate a state wondering as you not busy trying to figure the onboarding system. Below are 360 VR in which they show movement can insight wonder more so the second video.

I started making a base scene to experiment with sizing and layout, the biomorphic structure in the middle I created in blender! I felt as though a structure was very much needed as in order to explore and potentially activate the space.

Thesis

I know that in my thesis I wanted to have at least 2 case studies to combine both VR and installation as my project was inspired by a VR experience that I was able to see in May this year, the VR experience is called ‘The temple’ by Acute art. Just briefly explaining what The temple it is an VR experience in which it reimages what Hilma Af Klint great commotion of ‘Painting for the temple’ where she made painting in which it should be held in a temple like build. So Acute art is a VR interpretation of how this temple can not only vessel the painting but also make them become alive and dive into the painting as well.
