Week 1: D.I.E

Story idea

The themes that I want to focus within my story is respect of culture and land, being able to be open minded to try things that seem to different to us. The book ‘Everything you ever wanted’ by Luiza Sauma loosely inspired the idea of setting my story in a different plant, as the book is set in a plant where it’s meant to be a communal living utopia but the characters are shielded by living in pods.

loose story: We follow a character named ‘Mimi’, she has chosen to travel to a new plant where she thinks she will relax. When things become strange as she explore the new island, she disrespectful when offered food that’s native to the plant and native animals attack her because she is shelf.
